FREE Starbucks Cup Art

Okay, there may be one or two of you out there who frequent Starbucks, or some similar coffee shop in your town. Maybe some of you have discovered the Starbucks do-it-yourself artwork cup: You can remove the generic paper inner sleeve, and fill it with your own art, photos, scraps, what-have-you, making it a personalized masterpiece.

But maybe you've bought a cup, but don't know exactly what art you want to put in there?...

Boy, have I got something for you!

Starbucks art cup with ebooks art sleeveThis FREE ebooks art-sleeve for 2010 is custom-made to slip right into your Starbucks cup, and possibly other cups as well. Just right-click on the cup at right or the sleeve art on the upper far right and select "Save link as..." to download the full-size art, print it onto any paper (glossy photo paper will look great!), cut it out along the border, and slip it into the cup of your choice.

Now, when you go for your daily joe, you can show off your cup to others, and tell 'em about the great e-books that you love to read while you're hanging out with your brew! You can even tell 'em where to get one for themselves, whilst buying a great e-book (or ten) besides. And if you're not sure where to send them... my website is cannily hidden in the Darwin picture! How cool is that?

I take mine to work daily, and I get lots of comments on it (especially from the baristas!). Know a cute barista, or someone else who might be interested in ebooks (and you, of course)? Maybe this'll get 'em talking to you!

Landfill Alert!

Have you seen the (green) light?

The author poses with a refreshing beverage in a classy green cup!

—you know, the one that tells you that bringing your own drink cup every day to your favorite coffee shop can cut back on the recycling or landfilling of hundreds of thousands of paper or plastic cups per year? (And by the way, if you personally are disposing of that many, you really should cut back, bro!)

Using your own cup is very green. Being green is in. Being in is cool. And being cool will ease global warming! See how that works? So do your part to save the planet... every little bit helps!

I even re-use my straws. No lie!
